This Policy describes cookies and similar technologies used on Baritex websites and Services. Optional technologies will be controlled through Cookie Preferences where required.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, SDKs and identifiers. They may recognise a browser, remember settings, secure sessions and measure use.

2. Categories

  • Strictly necessary: authentication, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, checkout and consent records. These cannot generally be disabled through Baritex controls.
  • Preferences: language, appearance and accessibility settings.
  • Analytics: aggregate or pseudonymous measurement of visits, performance and feature use.
  • Marketing: campaign measurement or relevant communications, used only where permitted and subject to required consent.

3. Legal basis and choice

Necessary technologies are used to provide requested Services and protect legitimate security interests. Non-essential technologies are used with consent where required. Rejecting optional cookies will not block core access, though some preferences or integrations may not function.

4. Third parties

Authorised providers may set or receive identifiers for hosting, payments, analytics, embedded content, communications or security. Their role and retention depend on the configured service. Baritex will periodically review active technologies and update disclosures where material changes occur.

5. Managing preferences

Users can select Cookie Preferences on the website and can withdraw optional consent as easily as it was given. Browser controls may also delete or block cookies. A consent record may be retained to remember the choice.

6. Retention

Session cookies expire when the session ends. Persistent cookies remain for their stated duration or until removed. Baritex will not retain an identifier longer than reasonably necessary for its disclosed purpose.

7. Accessibility

Cookie controls should be keyboard operable, screen-reader understandable, visible at reasonable zoom and should not rely on colour alone. Users who cannot operate the preference interface may contact support@baritex.io for assistance.

8. Changes

Material changes will be reflected in the banner, preference centre or another appropriate notice. This Policy should be reviewed whenever a new analytics, advertising or embedded-content provider is introduced.
