This Policy forms part of the Terms of Use. Enforcement is risk-based and proportionate. It does not prohibit lawful accessibility tools, authorised security research, or good-faith reporting.
1. Lawful and responsible use
Users must comply with applicable law, contractual duties and the rights of others. They must not use the Services to commit, facilitate or conceal criminal conduct, fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, unlawful surveillance or regulatory circumvention.
2. Harm and exploitation
- No content that unlawfully incites violence, facilitates terrorism, sexually exploits children, or deliberately facilitates self-harm.
- No targeted harassment, stalking, credible threats, doxxing or unlawful hate content.
- No discrimination, exclusion or harassment based on disability, race, sex, religion, ethnicity, age or another protected characteristic.
- No content designed to mock, degrade, exploit or fraudulently impersonate a person because of disability.
3. Fraud, deception and high-impact decisions
- Do not create fraudulent documents, phishing material, deceptive deepfakes or impersonations intended to mislead.
- Do not present AI output as verified fact where accuracy is material.
- Do not use AI output as the sole basis for a legal, employment, credit, insurance, healthcare or similarly high-impact decision where human review or other safeguards are required.
- Do not use accessibility or disability information to unlawfully screen out or disadvantage a person.
4. Security and system integrity
- No malware, ransomware, credential theft, unauthorised access, denial-of-service attack or harmful code.
- No bypass of authentication, access controls, usage limits or protective measures.
- No vulnerability probing without written authorisation. Good-faith reports should be sent to support@baritex.io.
- No extraction of source code or reverse engineering except to the extent the law expressly permits it.
5. Privacy and intellectual property
- Do not collect, track, disclose or process personal data unlawfully.
- Do not upload confidential data without authority or content that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or personality rights.
- Organisations remain responsible for notices, lawful bases, permissions and safeguards applicable to data they submit.
6. Automated access and resources
Unauthorised scraping, account creation by bots, harvesting, excessive requests and attempts to circumvent plan limits are prohibited. Documented APIs and expressly authorised automation may be used within stated limits.
Assistive technology exception: legitimate use of screen readers, voice navigation, browser accessibility tools, alternative input devices or authorised support assistance will not, by itself, be treated as prohibited automation or excessive access.
7. Third-party integrations
Users must be authorised to connect external systems and must comply with their terms and applicable law. Users must not use an integration to obtain data or permissions beyond those authorised.
8. Monitoring and enforcement
Baritex may investigate credible violations, preserve evidence, restrict a feature, remove prohibited content, suspend or terminate access, and report conduct where required by law. Measures will consider intent, severity, recurrence, harm and remediation. Urgent action may be taken without prior notice; otherwise Baritex will ordinarily provide notice and an opportunity to respond.
9. Appeals and good-faith reporting
A user may request review of an enforcement decision through support@baritex.io. Baritex will not retaliate against good-faith reports. A report should include relevant account, content, dates and supporting information without unnecessarily disclosing sensitive data.
10. Changes
Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel and will apply from the stated effective date.
